Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)

MTSS is a collaborative vision that includes Response to Instruction/Intervention and Positive Behavior Intervention and Support. All K-6 schools implement and sustain a multi-tiered system of support for both behavior and academics. The goal of MTSS is to provide ALL students with the instruction they need to make progress towards MN state standards. All students receive core instruction with embedded instructional and behavioral practices to meet their needs.
